Momo is an app for planning, coordinating, and remembering group gatherings together. From schedule coordination, votes, checklists, and real-time chat to ledger, AI itinerary generation, media archive, and place reviews — you can run the entire gathering lifecycle in one place.

Tap the "+" button at the top right of the home screen, enter the Gathering name, category, date, and region, and you're ready to go. If the date is not yet decided, you can use the schedule coordination feature to settle it together.

In the Gathering detail screen, tap "Invite" and share the invite link. Friends who receive the link can join right after installing the app. For security, the invite code can be rotated.

Schedule coordination runs in three stages: collecting → voting → confirmed. The host sets a candidate date range and a collection deadline; members register their own blockers (busy times). After the deadline, Momo analyzes the intersection of everyone's available time and proposes recommended slots. The host can confirm a slot directly or launch a vote across several. Personal availability you entered in the My Schedule tab — or imported from Google / Outlook calendars — is shown for reference during input.

From the Gathering dashboard you can create date, location, attendance, and general votes. Member responses are reflected in real time, and for location votes you can compare options together on a map.

You can create personal, shared, and role-specific checklists to split supplies and tasks among members. Completion status syncs in real time so you can see at a glance who finished what.

Record expenses, dues, transfers, reimbursements, and dues payments in the Gathering ledger, and they are automatically split as equal (N-way), custom, or solo. Outstanding balances and the minimum remittance routes are then calculated. Enable the Gathering Wallet to also track the common-fund balance and dues collection. Receipt scanning uploads the photo to Momo's server, where an AI model (such as Claude) extracts store name, amount, items, and tags to auto-fill the expense form. Each receipt is identified by an image hash so scanning the same image again does not consume credits. Bank account info (bank name, account number) used for settlement can be registered once on your profile or entered differently per Gathering.

The AI drafts itinerary slots using the Gathering's information (region, duration, travel style) along with recommendation signals such as place reviews and route statistics from other gatherings in the same region. You can request natural-language tweaks like "more relaxed" or "focus on food spots," and members can freely edit the generated slots or compare them as A/B plans. Data from other gatherings is only used when that gathering's host has explicitly enabled "Flow Sharing."

Photos uploaded to chat, slots, and receipts are automatically gathered into the Gathering gallery. When the gathering ends, you can recap together with per-slot routes and satisfaction. Photos are stored in a private bucket and accessible only through signed URLs that refresh periodically. Only the host, co-host, treasurer, and photographer can upload original files. Authorized members can leave reviews (rating, text, photos) for visited places, and if Flow Sharing is enabled, the data is used to recommend AI itineraries for other gatherings.

Momo has no monthly subscription. Core features are free to use. AI features (such as receipt OCR and AI itinerary generation) and original-photo storage use one-time "packs" that you buy per Gathering as needed.

Credits are the unit deducted from the Gathering pool when using AI features such as receipt OCR and AI itinerary generation (1 receipt scan ≈ 100 credits). When you sign up you receive 500 free credits (about 5 receipt scans) once, which you can add to a Gathering of your choice and share with its members (usable for 90 days from the day you add them). Beyond that, you can charge 500 / 2,000 / 5,000-credit packs into the Gathering pool as needed, and purchased credits never expire. To prevent abuse, a Gathering can hold up to 20,000 credits, and each user can perform at most 20 OCR scans per 5 minutes within a Gathering.

In the free default state, each Gathering can store up to 200MB of compressed thumbnails, and original uploads are blocked. Purchasing a Photo Storage Pack (S: 1GB / L: 3GB) unlocks original uploads for that Gathering, and capacity, once bought, never expires. The cumulative cap per Gathering is 10GB; when remaining headroom is insufficient, larger packs are automatically hidden so you can only buy what you can actually use.

All pack purchases in Momo are bound to the Gathering, not to the individual buyer. Credits and capacity are reflected in the Gathering pool immediately upon purchase so authorized members can share them. As a result, if the buyer leaves or is removed, the remaining credits and capacity are not refunded. The same applies if the Gathering is deleted.

All payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase (IAP). Momo does not directly store payment instrument information such as card numbers or account details. Because the digital content is immediately consumable, withdrawal of subscription is restricted under Article 17(2)5 of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. Please file refund requests directly through Apple/Google's refund policies and procedures.

Momo supports Google, Apple, and Kakao social login as well as email/password. Only one account can be created per email address; if you try to sign in with a different method, we'll point you to the existing sign-up method. After joining, you can link or unlink additional social accounts under Settings → Account → Manage Sign-in Methods.

Notifications fall into 7 categories: Gathering, Vote, Checklist, Chat, Mention, Ledger, and Schedule. Each can be toggled globally under Settings → Notifications. From the Gathering detail screen, you can also mute the entire Gathering or toggle individual categories within it. To hide message contents on the lock screen, turn off "Show message preview" — the body will then be replaced with "You have a new message." Momo does not send promotional pushes; only Gathering-activity notifications.

An opt-in setting that lets the Momo team see app errors and event logs to fix issues faster. Logs are collected only after you consent. Collected logs are auto-deleted after 30 days, or immediately if you turn off the consent in Settings.

If you delete your account under Settings → Account, your account, profile, and the auth tokens in your device's secure storage are immediately removed from the server. For Gatherings where you are the host, host is automatically transferred (co-host first, then the longest-standing member) and the Gathering is kept if other members remain; Gatherings where you were the only member are deleted, and their photos and files are cleaned up immediately. Photos, chat, and ledger entries you added to surviving Gatherings are kept but anonymized as "Deleted user" for the other members, and your membership is marked "leave reason: account_deleted." You do not need to transfer host or clean up Gatherings before deleting your account.

A Gathering with other members cannot be deleted — you can only "leave" it. When a host leaves, host is automatically transferred (co-host first, then the longest-standing member) and the Gathering is kept. A host who is the only member deletes the Gathering instead (it moves to Trash and can be restored within 30 days). Other members are separated for three reasons: self (voluntary), kicked, or account_deleted; a kicked member cannot rejoin with the same invite code. If you leave voluntarily and rejoin later, your role and per-Gathering custom profile are reset. Activity records remain anonymized to preserve the Gathering history, and if outstanding settlements exist, you'll be guided to resolve them first.
